# Delete your account and data

## Learn how to delete your Workspace and request the deletion of your Bridge.audio account.

🧐 **Deleting a Workspace permanently deletes all its content. This can't be undone.**

### Before you start

- Download the files you want to keep: see [Downloading and exporting your files](https://knowledge.bridge.audio/en/downloading-and-exporting-your-files?hsLang=en).
- If your Workspace has a paid plan, cancel your subscription first so it doesn't renew: see [Cancel your subscription](https://knowledge.bridge.audio/en/cancel-your-subscription?hsLang=en).
- Only the **Owner** of a Workspace can delete it. If you're an Administrator or an Editor, you can leave the Workspace from the **Members** tab of the **Settings** instead.

### Step 1: Delete your Workspace

1. Go to **Settings** in your Workspace
2. Click on the **Workspaces** tab
3. Select **Delete Workspace** and confirm

If you own several Workspaces, repeat these steps for each one before requesting the deletion of your account.

### Step 2: Request the deletion of your account

Once your Workspace is deleted, write to support@bridge.audio from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm by email once your request is handled.
