Organizing your Project: Adding files and media

Add files to a project

There are many ways to add audio files , folders or media to a project, either from your Bridge library for tracks or from your own desktop files and folders.

  • Inside a project, you can click the following three buttons:

    - Add from library: browse your existing workspace library to add a selection of tracks

    - File upload: browse your desktop to add audio files or any media (photo, videos, etc)

    - Folder upload: browse your desktop and add an entire folder of files to the project

-You can also drag and drop files from your desktop directly into the project

  • In your workspace library, you can:
-Select tracks in your tracklist and add them to either a new project, or to an existing one, by clicking on “Add to ..”

- On an album or artist page, click "Add to ..”
to copy the entire discography or album inside a project.

Media and documents in projects

From artworks to videos, images, lyrics, PDF, written documents... Bridge.audio lets you add up to 50 media and other documents to each of your projects!
To do so, simply go to your project, and click the Add button. You’ll then be able to select the files or even the folders you want from your hard drive.

TIP: You can also directly drag and drop any media or documents into any project 🏀

TIP#2: If you wish to attach to your project a video that is too heavy (>2 Gb), you can always insert a YouTube, Vimeo, or any other links in the text description.

Projects with media only

Sometimes you may create projects that do not contain any audio files, but are rather filled with images, videos, other documents… Such as a Media Kit for a band.
On Bridge we have a dedicated design for such links without tracklist.
Here’s an example

🥅 ❓Can I add tracks from my computer directly into a project?
Absolutely, it’s actually one of the coolest things on Bridge.audio 🤓

You can drag and drop tracks or even entire folders into a project. It does not matter if the folder contains videos, photos, docs, and/or audio files: everything will be uploaded directly into your project, and ready to be shared!

Note: when you upload tracks into a project, the tracks are also added to your Bridge library.

⏯ Check out this video explaining the drag and drop in action, in the context of a PressKit creation.

âť“ Can I play/upload videos on Bridge?
Yes you can! You can attach video files to a project (up to 2 Gb per video). All workspace members can stream the videos right from the project page. On the other side, outside recipients of the project will be able to directly stream the video on the link, or download it if they want to. As a sender, you can decide to allow or not access to the media you attach to projects.
